First year Kevin Stross (Port Washington/Schreiber) has been named the NECVA-metro division rookie of the week for the week ending March 8th. Stross amassed 33 kills on 60 attempts with nine errors in two matches last week against nationally ranked opponents, Vassar and Philadelphia Biblical. On the week, Stross averaged 4.12 kills and .88 blocks per game. This is the third time this season, Stross has earned rookie of the week recognition.
