The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, is hosting the 2009 Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend January 30-February 1, 2009.
The NABC encourages all coaches to wear sneakers with their suits at games held this weekend to show their support for the Coaches v Cancer program, and to raise cancer awareness in their communities.
Head coach Dagan Nelson and assistant coach Walter Rickard will be taking part in this program this weekend, when the Hawks travel to Geneseo on Friday and Brockport on Saturday.
