Coyle Named SUNYAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Brittany Coyle (Middletown, NY/Minisink Valley) was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Volleyball Player of the Week ending on November 1st. Coyle led the Hawks to a 3-1 record, while playing in 13 games. She had a .446 hitting percentage with 46 kills on 92 attempts with only five errors. She also tallied one assist, five aces, two digs and three blocks. New Paltz finished second at the Vassar Invitational. The Hawks are 28-8 overall on the season and 7-1 in SUNYAC competition.

The Hawks open the SUNYAC Tournament Friday at 6 p.m. in Fredonia against the winner of Thursday nights game between Brockport and Potsdam.
