New Paltz Forum to Feature Town, Village and SUNY Leaders

The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce will host an open community forum designed to give New Paltz residents the opportunity to get answers from Town, Village and SUNY leaders all at once.  The forum will be held on Tuesday, July 15 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm in the Ulster County BOCES conference room, 175 State Route 32 North, New Paltz.

The New Paltz community is invited to participate in this special open forum, in which a panel of community leaders featuring top officials from SUNY New Paltz and Town and Village governments, police department, rescue squad, library and youth programs will answer questions posed by forum attendees, moderated by New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce President Joyce Minard.  The panel includes SUNY New Paltz President Dr. Steven Poskanzer; New Paltz Town Supervisor Toni Hokanson; Village of New Paltz Mayor Terry Dungan; New Paltz Police Chief Ray Zappone and Police Commission Chair Rick Remsnyder; SUNY New Paltz Police Chief Raymond Bryant; New Paltz Rescue Squad President Ted Reiss; New Paltz Youth Program Director Jim Tinger, LMSW; and Elting Memorial Library Board of Directors President Barbara Hardgrave and Vice President Susan Scher.
