The 2008 NCAA Division III Swim Championships came to a close today and the SUNY New Paltz Hawks finished with a 17th place team ranking. Michelle Coombs earned her third All-American honor of the Championship with a fifth place finish in the 100 free in 51.46. The 400 free relay of Coombs, Erica Ellis, Becky Baker and Christine Reith failed to qualify for the finals with a 21st place finish in 3:42.92.
After the three day championship, Coombs finished with three first team All-American certificates and the relay quartet finished with two honorable mention All-American honors.
