NEW PALTZ, NY — The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected softball player Lauren Motzkin and baseball player Tyler Terlecky as the SUNYAC players of the week for the week ending March. 30th.
Motzkin went 6 of 7 (.857) in a two-game sweep of Mt. St. Mary. She had two doubles, five runs scored, three RBIs and two stolen bases in the two wins.
Terlecky hit .545 last week in a 1-2 week for the Hawks that included a split with Plattsburgh in the conference opener for both squads. Terlecky slugged .545 and had an on-base percentage of the same while driving in four runs for the week.
