SUNY New Paltz eventually fell to Buffalo State in the title game but finished the year with an 11-17 record after going 3-22 the previous season.
Pasquerella earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from SUNY Cortland. He completed his master’s degree in health education in 2000. In addition, he is pursuing a certificate of advanced study degree in educational administration at SUNY New Paltz.
In addition to his coaching duties, Pasquerella was the Coordinator of Intramurals/Recreation and Outdoor Pursuits.
