The SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team traveled to East Stroudsburg tonight and fell to the Warriors, 3-0 (30-21, 30-23, 30-28).
First year Christopher Holden paced the attack with nine kills and senior Joshua Spiro finished with seven kills. Junior Pedro Medina collected seven digs and sophomore Matt Weingarten dished out 29 assists. The Hawks fall to 21-8 on the season and will return to action this Friday in the NECVA tournament.
New Paltz is seeded sixth in the tournament and will face No. 11, Hunter, on Friday at 8 p.m in the first round. The tournament will be hosted by Nazareth College, located in Rochester, NY.
