NEW PALTZ, NY — The SUNY New Paltz Women’s Basketball team earned the No. 6 seed in the ECAC Upstate New York Tournament and will travel to Oswego to face the third seeded Lakers at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in its first round game.
The Golden Eagles (20-7) play the Tigers (15-11) at Tuttle North. The remaining games in the Upsatte Tournament have No. 1 Elmira hosting No. 8 Rensselaer, No. 2 Brockport hosting No. 7 RIT, and No. 4 Utica College hosting No. 5 Williams Smith. All first round games will be Wednesday with the four winning teams advancing to a weekend semifinal and championship at the site of the highest remaining seed.
