NEW PALTZ, NY — The SUNY New Paltz women’s volleyball team received a bid to participate in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC)Tournament. The University of Rochester will host the entire tournament. In the first-round, on Friday, November 10, # 3 SUNY New Paltz (24-11) will play # 6 Russell Sage (17-15) at 5:30 p.m. #4 SUNY Potsdam (20-13) will play #5 SUNY Oneonta (22-16) at 8:00 p.m. The winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, November 11, where University of Rochester will meet the winner of Potsdam – Oneonta at 1:30 p.m. and RIT will face the winner of Russell Sage – New Paltz at 11:00 a.m. The semifinal winners will play for the championship at 5:00 p.m.
