Lim Falls in Semifinals of Singles as Lim and Yamakawa Fall in Doubles Finals

NEW PALTZ, NY — The final day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Tournament held at William Smith in Geneva, NY began this morning.
Sophomore Dana Lim (New City, NY/Clarkstown South), seeded #4, competed in the semifinal singles round against the number two seed, Jackie Shtemberg, of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). Lim fell to Shtemberg 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles action, Lim and Yamakawa, seeded number two, faced the number one seed of Contrafatto and Shtemberg of TCNJ in the finals this afternoon and fell by a score of 8-3.
Coach Rob Bruley stated that despite the final outcome, the girls played exceptional all weekend.
