Kim Clouston Named SUNYAC Volleyball Player of the Week

NEW PALTZ, NY — New Paltz senior Kim Clouston (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) led the Hawks totheir third straight Hawk Invitational Volleyball Tournament title as New Paltz won all four games in the tournament. Clouston had 35 kills and a .289 hit percentage for the Hawks. The outside hitter also contributed 38 digs and five blocks to the winning effort. New Paltz improved to 9-3 on the season heading into the first session of SUNYAC Pool Play this weekend at Plattsburgh. In the New Paltz tournament, the Hawks defeated SUNY Farmingdale, SUNY Morrisville and Elmira by 3-0 scores and dealt SUNY Oneonta a 3-1 loss. Against Oneonta, Clouston had 12 kills and 18 digs.


Kim Clouston was named the SUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 17.
