NEW PALTZ — SUNY New Paltz Director of Athletics, Stuart Robinson, has announced the hiring of Janelle Feuz as its new head sports information director.
It’s the first head director position for Feuz who has been the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Publicist for the past year. Feuz was responsible for maintaining the SUNYAC website and compiling statistics for the conference’s 20 sports. In her new role, she will be responsible for all aspects of athletic media coverage of the university’s fourteen intercollegiate programs.
As an undergraduate, Feuz worked in the Athletic Department at SUNY Geneseo for several years and interned in the Sports Information Office. She was named the Nick Hayes Memorial Award recipient in 2005, which is given to a SUNY Geneseo student who contributes outstanding service to athletics in a non-playing capacity. During the summer of 2004 she interned with the Rochester Rhino Soccer and Major League Rattler Lacrosse team.
Feuz earned her degree in communication from SUNY Geneseo in 2005 and is originally from Cattaraugus, NY.
