NEW PALTZ, NY — SUNY New Paltz freshman Eri Yamakawa (Eastchester, NY) has been named a Second Team All-New York State Women?s Collegiate Athletic Association (NYSWCAA) selection in women’s tennis.
Yamakawa played at the top of the Hawks singles lineup this season and posted a 7-4 record in dual matches. She was a quarterfinalist at the both the SUNYAC and the NYSWCAA Tournaments in the fall. In addition, Yamakawa was a Second Team All-SUNYAC selection.
The SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team went 10-2 this season, finished second at the SUNYAC Tournament and placed seventh at the NYSWCAA Tournament.
