PITTSBURGH, PA — The SUNY New Paltz swimming team wrapped up the third and final day at the 2005 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Only the women’s team was in action today. Senior Danielle Lindner finished 16th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:13.13.
Junior Joanna Masterson finished 12th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.82.
Lindner and Masterson also joined sophomores Liz Delia and Ashley Williamson for a 10th place effort in the 400 free relay. The team completed the race in 3:41.19.
The women’s team finished 15th among a field of 27 with 46 points. The men’s squad finished 20th with nine points. Both the men’s and women’s meets featured competition against Divison I schools.
