PITTSBURGH, PA — The SUNY New Paltz swimming team wrapped up the first day of competition at the 2005 ECAC Championship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Junior Joanna Masterson swam to a top-eight performance in the 50 freestyle. Masterson came in seventh with a time of 24.63. She also was a part of the Hawks’ 400 medley relay team that finished 15th with a time of 4:16.32. Swimming with Masterson were sophomores Liz Delia and Ashley Williamson and senior Danielle Lindner.
Tomorrow the Hawks will be featured in the 200 medley relay, the 100 backstroke and the 100 breaststroke.
