DECATUR, IL — Sophomore Musu Jackson-Buckner (Buffalo, NY) wrapped up the track & field season at the 2004 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship at Millikin University.
Competing in the 200 meter dash, Jackson-Buckner finished 18th overall among a field of 20. She ran in the first of three heats and placed sixth out of seven with a time of 25.80.
Amber James, a senior from Wheaton College, and the defending national champion, ran the top time of the trials (24.63). Pam Orris, a junior from Loras College, was eighth in the trials with a time of 25.15. The top eight runners adavanced to Saturday’s finals.
