SUNY New Paltz Men’s Tennis Team Drops 5-2 Decision to Manhattanville

PURCHASE, NY — The SUNY New Paltz men’s tennis team had their three match winning streak snapped with a 5-2 loss to Manhattanville this afternoon. The Hawks fell to 8-4 with the loss while Manhattanville improved to 7-4.

Junior Jason Letts (Plattsburgh, NY) was a double winner for the Hawks. He won at number five singles, 6-1, 6-4 and teamed with junior Josh Greenspan (North Babylon, NY) to win the number three doubles, 8-3.

The Hawks other victory came at number six singles where sophomore Scott Keicher (Lindenhurst, NY) won by a score of 6-2, 6-1.

New Paltz returns to the courts on Thursday, April 22nd with a road trip to Bard College. The match begins at 5:00 pm.
