Hawks Pick Up Another Road Tennis Win

MAHWAH, NJ — For the second straight day, the SUNY New Paltz men’s tennis team came away with a road victory. The Hawks registered a convincing 8-1 over Ramapo this afternoon.

SUNY New Paltz improved to 7-3 with the victory. The Hawks enjoyed a sweep of all three doubles matches and won five of six singles flights to earn their third consecutive win. Ramapo dropped to 1-3 with the loss.

Brad Breakstone (NP) defeated Ross Switkes (R) 6-3, 6-2. Bobby Calise (NP) lost to Scott Seaman (R) 6-1, 6-3. Brian Palmenteri (NP) defeated Greg Kohr (R) 6-2, 6-3. Josh Greenspan (NP) defeated David Sheffrin (R) 6-3, 6-4. Jason Letts (NP) defeated Matthew Sieglitz (R) 6-3, 6-3. Greg Cichon (NP) defeated Joseph Sommers (R) 6-3, 5-7, 7-6

Doubles
