Judi Esmond has been appointed Education Coordinator at the SDMA. Ms. Esmond is an alumna of SUNY New Paltz with degrees in both fine arts and art education. Prior to joining the staff of the SDMA she held similar positions at the Mill Street Loft in Poughkeepsie, and the Center for Photography at Woodstock. At the SDMA Judi will develop a series of interpretive and outreach programs to help the SDMA expand its services to communities on and beyond the New Paltz campus.
Dr. Jaimee Uhlenbrock has been appointed Associate Curator of Collections at the SDMA. Dr. Uhlenbrock, joined the staff arter her ecent retirement from the SUNY New Paltz Art History department.
The SDMA also welcomes Amy Pickering to the staff. Amy replaces BBeth Hill as the museum’s Visitor Services Coordinator.
