SUNY Chancellor Robert L. King is guest for special breakfast briefing in Fishkill Sept. 25

NEW PALTZ — State University of New York Chancellor Robert L. King will make a presentation about SUNY’s role in the upstate New York economy at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center on Route 9 in Fishkill.

The Chancellor’s presentation, titled “SUNY Means Business: The Impact of the State University on the Upstate Economy,” will focus on the $177 million impact the five Mid-Hudson area SUNY colleges make to the upstate economy.

The event will be hosted by the Mid-Hudson Pattern for Progress, SUNY New Paltz and corporate sponsor, HSBC.

The five SUNY colleges in the Mid-Hudson area — SUNY New Paltz, Dutchess County Community College, Orange County Community College, Sullivan County Community College and Ulster County Community College — will be in attendance.
