NEW PALTZ, NY — Senior diver Kathy MacCrate was named the women’s diving Most Valuable Player at the SUNY New Paltz Athletic Banquet on May 7th.
MacCrate won the one-meter diving title at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships with a score of 336.35.
MacCrate also finished second on the three-meter diving board at the event with a score of 345.85.
After finishing fourth a year ago, women’s swimming and diving took third place this year with 491 points at the SUNYAC Championships.
