Jackson-Buckner Named Women’s Track and Field Most Valuable Player

NEW PALTZ, NY — Musu Jackson-Buckner, of Buffalo, NY, was named the Most Valuable Player of the women’s track and field team at the SUNY New Paltz Athletic Banquet May 7th.

Jackson-Buckner won the conference title in the 200 meters at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She finished the race in 26.01 seconds to claim the crown.

Jackson-Buckner also qualified for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters where she placed 10th with a time of 25.93 seconds.
