Breakstone Named Men’s Tennis MVP

NEW PALTZ, NY — Brad Breakstone was named Most Valuable Player of the men’s tennis team at the SUNY New Paltz Athletic Banquet May 7th.

Breakstone, a junior, compiled a 9-4 singles record this season and combined for a 9-5 doubles record with partners Tiby Taran and Brian Palmenteri. In six of his nine singles victories, Breakstone punished his opponents, winning 72 games to his opponents’ 18.

The SUNY New Paltz men’s tennis team won their last six matches of the season to end the 2003 campaign with a 10-4 record.
