NEW PALTZ, NY – — The SUNY New Paltz baseball team will have to wait another week to open the 2003 season. The Hawks’ three-game series against Johns Hopkins on Mar. 1-2 has been postponed due to the snow storm that hit the east coast on February 17.
New Paltz will now open the year with a three-game series against Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA on Mar. 8-9. The Hawks will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Sunday 1:00 p.m.
