NEW PALTZ, NY – — Thirty-One student-athletes at SUNY New Paltz were recently named to the athletic departments Fall 2002 All-Academic Team.
The honor goes to all student-athletes who receive a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 and have made a significant contribution to his or her team.
Student-athletes from the following teams were honored:
Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field – Phil Goodwin, Justin Lee and Sean McCormick.
Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field – Janet Walsh and Rebecca Demeri.
Men’s Swimming & Diving – Seth Phostole and Nolan Reynolds.
Women’s Swimming & Diving – Andrea Ditter, Kristen Horodiski, Jaime Parrotte and Lauren Saracene.
Women’s Tennis – Amie Larson, Diana Lemanski, and Jennifer Neumann.
Women’s Volleyball – Jennifer Hollis, Christina Mazurowski, and Denee Miggins.
Field Hockey – Jodi Novatka, Heather Downey, Lisa Taub and Adrienne Smith.
Women’s Soccer – Danielle Herring and Courtney Muller.
Men’s Soccer – Chris Sluszka.
Softball – Kristin Ackermann and Val Blackman.
Baseball – Jeff Cote’, Marc Bernstein, Marc Smith and Eric Velazquez.
