NEW PALTZ – — For the third time this fall, SUNY New Paltz women’s volleyball standout Jackie Goldstein (Port Jervis, NY – Minisink Valley HS) has been named to an all-tournament team.
Goldstein was named to the all-tournament team at the Oswego Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 19) after leading the Hawks to a 2-2 record at the two-day event to finish fifth among eight teams.
In four matches, Goldstein averaged 4.8 kills per game and had a .378 hitting percentage. She had 28 kills, two digs and a .385 hitting percentage in a 3-2 win over Keuka. Goldstein also registered 16 kills, two digs, three blocks and hit .382 in a 3-0 victory over St. Lawrence.
The senior right-side hitter also shined in a 3-0 to Oswego with 14 kills, two blocks and a .619 hitting percentage.
Goldstein is averaging a team-best 3.0 kills per game for the Hawks who are 11-22 this fall.
