New Paltz Makes It Three Straight

PATCHOGUE, NY — Lauren Martone scored in the 60th minute to give the SUNY New Paltz women’s soccer team a 1-0 win over St. Joseph’s College this afternoon.

Lauren Pastore set up Martone for the game-winner to give the Hawks their third consecutive win. The Hawks also recorded their third consecutive shutout to improve to 3-4 on the year.

Maggie Fenton stopped five shots in goal for SUNY New Paltz. Fenton has now gone 335 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal.

Lisa Pavia made six saves for St. Joe’s who dropped to 1-2 this fall.
