Dudar Sets Personal Record at Albany Spring Classic

ALBANY — New Paltz sophomore Natasha Dudar (New Paltz, NY) highlighted the day for the Hawks Friday at the Albany University Spring Classic. Dudar set a personal record in the women’s long jump with a jump of 5.09 meters. Dudar took 1st in the event while teammate Stephanie Ramsey (Shelton, CT) took 3rd with a jump of 5.00 meters. Also for the women, Andrea Drayss (Island Trees, NY) was 5th in the shot put with a throw of 10.84 meters.

The women’s team took 8th place at the meet finishing with 22 points as they gear up for the upcoming ECAC Championships at Springfield College in Massachusetts.

For the men, Phil Goodwin (Rochester, NY) took 7th in the men’s 1500m with a time of 4:10.52, and Justin Lee (East Fishkill, NY) took 11th in the men’s 800m coming in at 2:00.58.
