Women’s Track 7th, Men 8th at SUNYAC Indoor Championships

HOBART — At the SUNYAC Indoor Championships at Hobart Saturday the New Paltz women ended up with 20 points and 7th place while the men finished with 30 points and 8th place.

For the women, Andrea Drayss (Island Park, NY) placed 2nd in the women’s shot put with a throw of 11.92 meters. Sara Joki (Schuylerville, NY) was 2nd in the women’s high jump clearing 1.60 meters and Natasha Dudar (New Paltz, NY) was 6th in the women’s triple jump at 10.36 meters.

For the men, Phil Goodwin (Rochester, NY) was 3rd in the men’s 1500 meters coming in at 4:06.11. Goodwin also came in 5th in the 800 meters behind teammate Justin Lee (East Fishkill, NY) who was 4th. Lee’s time was 2:00.15 and Goodwin’s was 2:01.28. Also, Dave Matthews (Wallkill, NY) placed 4th in the men’s 200 meters at 22.90.
