COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Junior setter/right side hitter Beau Warren earned the AVCA/Sports Imports Division III Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending on February 18th.
The 6’2” Canandaigua, NY native led the Hawks to a 4-2 record last week and the Roger Williams Invitational Tournament Championship. Warren, the most valuable player of the tournament, averaged 0.88 blocks, 6.80 assists, 1.60 kills, and 2.08 digs in the six matches. He charted a triple-double (11 kills, 43 assists, 12 digs) against No. 8 Roger Williams in the championship match, and added double- doubles in wins over No. 10 Johnson & Wales (46 assists, 10 digs) and MIT (42 assists, 10 digs). He also added 34 assists and 8 digs against No. 15 Rivier College.
