Men’s Cross Country Finishes 6th at ECAC Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA — The New Paltz men’s cross country team finished 6th out of twenty-eight teams last weekend at the ECAC Championships at Williams College last weekend.

Phil Goodwin (Rochester, NY) was the top finisher for the Hawks placing 5th with a time of 26:57 and was named to the ECAC All-Conference Team. Chris Tuttle (Poughquag, NY) finished in the top twenty placing 19th in the race with a time of 27:33 and Sean McCormick (Suffern, NY) finished 39th at 28:06.

The women’s team finished 26th out of thirty-three teams at the ECAC meet. Rebecca Demeri (Wantagh, NY) placed 124th with a time of 22:39 and Jean Thompson (Bucksport, ME) was 145th at 23:18.
