WEST POINT — Five top ten finishes highlighted SUNY New Paltz’s day at the West Point Outdoor Track and Field Invitational on Saturday.
Katie Dwyer and Donna Jirkovsky placed sixth and 10th, respectively, in the high jump, while Andrea Drayss finished eighth in the shot put for the Hawk women. The 4×400-meter relay team was fourth behind three Division I squads and Phil Goodwin’s eighth-place finish in the 5000-meter run led a strong effort by the New Paltz men.
The Hawks will compete at the College of New Jersey Multi-Event Meet on Thursday and Friday. The scheduled start time both days is 3 p.m.
