Hawks Win Sixth Straight In Volleyball

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA. — Beau Warren had a quadruple-double and teammate Robert Manosca recorded his second straight triple-double, to power SUNY New Paltz past Division II East Stroudsburg, 30-26, 36-38, 30-26, 34-32, in men’s volleyball on Thursday night.

Warren (25 assists, 18 kills, 15 blocks and 10 digs) is the first collegiate player in any division to have double figures in four different categories in a match this season. Manosca meanwhile, had his third triple-double (35 assists, 14 kills, 13 digs), and remains the only collegiate player other than Warren to achieve that status to date.

New Paltz (11-3) is the eighth ranked team in Division III, and has now won 11 of its last 12 matches.

The red-hot Hawks play at Division II Queens College (currently 2-7) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
