Women’s Basketball Team Loses SUNYAC Opener

BROCKPORT — For the first time this season, New Paltz harbored shooting woes, connecting on just 38 percent of its attempts, en route to a 78-67 road loss to Brockport on Friday night

The (1-2 overall, 0-1 SUNYAC) Hawks though still managed to get three players – Zebi Williams, Lindsay Dakin and Britni Bishop – in double figures. Williams (10 rebounds) scored a team-high 15 points, while Dakin (five rebounds) added 11 and Bishop (five assists, three steals) had 10.

New Paltz couldn’t solve Brockport sophomore center Kristen Clark, who had 33 points (including 11 points from the foul line), 13 rebounds, four steals and two assists to help the (1-1 SUNYAC) Golden Eagles even their record at 1-1.
