Vassar Defeats Hawks In Women’s Soccer

NEW PALTZ — Tracey Serdjenian’s goal 29 minutes into the contest held up as the game winner, as Vassar College defeated SUNY New Paltz, 3-0, in women’s soccer on Wednesday afternoon.

Shannon Carroll and Elizabeth Keehner also scored for the (4-2) Brewers, who outshot New Paltz 5-1 in the second half.

Goalkeeper Kim Baldwin had nine saves in a losing effort for New Paltz (1-4), which plays at SUNY Geneseo at 4 p.m. on Friday.
