Ramapo Beats Tennis Hawks

NEW PALTZ — SUNY New Paltz battled hard, but still fell short in a 6-3 women’s tennis loss to Ramapo College on Saturday at New Paltz’s university Air Structure.

Rebecca Billow won her third straight singles match, and Rachel Murray her second straight to lead the (3-6) Hawks in the loss. The tandem of Billow and Allison Schwille earned New Paltz’s other match point at second singles, their fifth win in eight matches together this season.

New Paltz is at Montclair State at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
