Fredonia Edges New Paltz In Men’s Soccer

FREDONIA — After tying the score twice, SUNY New Paltz was unable to answer Chris Whitmore’s goal with 9:36 remaining, as Fredonia edged the Hawks, 3-2, in SUNYAC men’s soccer on Friday afternoon.

Whitmore figured in all of the (7-1 overall, 3-0 SUNYAC) Blue Devils’ scoring, with two goals and an assist.

Thomas McCauley and Stephen Ferrara scored for New Paltz (1-9 overall, 1-4 SUNYAC), which plays at Buffalo State tomorrow at 1 p.m.
