Men’s Tennis Wins Again

NEW PALTZ — Kingston High graduate Justin Jourden led four SUNY New Paltz players with two wins apiece as the Hawks blanked local rival Mount St. Mary, 9-0, in men’s tennis on Tuesday afternoon at New Paltz’s Air Structure.

Chris Knoblauch, Ed Paulinski and Tiberiu Taran also collected wins at singles and doubles, while Onteora High graduate Josh Elohim (fifth singles), David Bridglall (sixth singles), and the team of Eric Gullickson and Andrew Lehr (third doubles) also won. New Paltz (6-4) has now won three straight matches, and four of its last five.

The Hawks travel to Manhattanville for a 3:30 p.m. match on Wednesday.
