SUNY New Paltz swept past Division I Harvard 15-10, 15-9, 15-6 for its third win in its last five matches on Saturday afternoon at Elting Gymnasium.
Miguel Soriano (14 kills, five digs, four blocks) and Sean Riley (13 kills, five blocks) helped lead New Paltz (8-12) to the victory. National Player of the Week Christopher Wright had 10 kills and seven blocks, Carlos Tollinche had eight kills and nine digs, Otto Tannure had eight kills and three blocks and Robert Manosca had 51 assists, five digs and five kills in the balanced effort.
New Paltz is back in action Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match at L.I.U.-Southampton before departing for a three-match trip to Puerto Rico on Wednesday.
