FBI Advisory at SUNY New Paltz

NEW PALTZ — On Thursday, the FBI notified the campus that they had received a call reporting that a bomb would go off in a SUNY New Paltz science building on Friday. University Police conducted a search and arranged for a specially trained state police dog to be brought in after classes ended early Thursday evening. No suspicious devices were found but the campus’ three science buildings were closed for the day on Friday and classes moved to other buildings as a precautionary measure. As a result of precautions taken, no disruptions were experienced.
