GENESEO — Cheryl Yanek once again led the way for the New Paltz women’s cross-country team, which placed 22nd at the NCAA Middle Atlantic Regional at Geneseo on Saturday.
Yanek, a junior, finished 103rd in 20:54. Other finishers for the Hawk women were: Crista Szymanski (114th, 21:03), Erica Peterson (135th, 21:36), Alison Tracy (139th, 21:39), Jen Schermerhorn (161th, 22:30) and Dawson Gerhardt (173rd, 23:29).
