Women’s Swimming Finishes Third At Long And Shorts

NEW PALTZ — The SUNY New Paltz women’s swimming team captured its fourth straight Long and Short Relays team title on Saturday at the Elting Natatorium.

New Paltz has lost this meet only once, in 1995, when Oswego edged the Hawks by two points. Victories in the 200 yard Medley and 4 x 50 yard Breaststroke Relays on Saturday helped hold off the second-place Lakers.

New Paltz hosts Hartwick next Saturday at 1 p.m.
