NEW PALTZ TO PARTICIPATE IN TAKE OUR DAUGHTERS TO WORK DAY

NEW PALTZ — The State University of New York at New Paltz will host the daughters of faculty and staff on Thursday, April 25 as part of the fourth annual Ms. Foundation for Women’s public education campaign, Take Our Daughters to Work.

On that day, throughout the country, thousands of girls, between 8 and 15 years of age, will accompany parents, relatives, teachers, and friends of the family to gain first-hand exposure to the workplace — and, it to them.

SUNY New Paltz has planned a day of activities for the young women it expects to see participate. Following a registration period from 8:30 to 9 a.m., there will be a welcoming address with the rest of the day consisting of a variety of activities and interest sessions.
