As mentioned before, we went on a road trip during labor day weekend. We took off on Friday afternoon heading to Atlantic City. We experience casino atmosphere, boardwalk, and extremely hot weather.[slideshow]

On Saturday we drove to the capital of the USA – Washington DC. What a lovely city! One day in DC wasn’t enough though; I’ll definitely go back to discover more of the city. We managed anyway to visit The White House, The United States Capitol Building, and Arlington National Cemetery.

Last stop – Philadelphia. We arrived late Sunday evening and experienced a beautiful city by night. Before we returned to New Paltz on Monday we visited Independence Hall – also known as Pennsylvania State house, and Liberty Bell – which is a symbol of the struggle for slavery cessation.
