Online Faculty Community of Practice

Emerging Practitioner: first-time online or blended learning instructor who is learning best practices of the LMS, the pedagogy of online instruction, or both.
Developing Practitioner: online or blended learning instructor who has designed at least one online or blended course and taught it at least once. At this level, experience is basic and additional skills are still being acquired.
Experienced Practitioner: faculty member who has online or blended learning experience and whose teaching practices produce positive learning experiences for course participants.
Faculty Mentor: faculty member who has online or blended learning experience and whose teaching practices produce positive learning experiences for course participants or instructional designer who has certification or expertise in creating and implementing successful online courses. Willing to spend time guiding and coaching emerging practitioners in the creation of their first course.
