The report, released on Feb. 12, analyzes 484 four-year public colleges and it ranks them based on best educational experience for students. The highest marks went to schools with highly selective admissions processes, strong retention and graduation rates, prestigious reputations, affordable tuitions and housing costs, diverse faculties and student bodies, and economically robust communities.

“Once again, we are pleased to have third party validation that our outstanding students, faculty, degree programs, facilities, and, most importantly, high level of student success, combine to make us one of the best public four-year institutions in the country,” said L. David Eaton, vice president for enrollment management. “This most recent accolade is very much in keeping with others we have received in recent years.”
